Family of Brian Terry reacts after 9th Circuit overturns murder conviction

The following is from the Brian Terry Foundation.

More than 13 years after the murder of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, Terry’s family is still seeking justice, and the U.S.-Mexico border remains in crisis.

Late Friday, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the conviction and life sentence of a man found guilty of killing Brian Terry in 2010. Terry’s death exposed a botched federal gun operation known as “Fast and Furious,” and brought into focus the national border crisis.

Brian Terry’s uncle Ralph Terry said, “In more than a decade so little has changed. Our fight to seek justice for Brian is ongoing, at the same time our border security has worsened. This toxic combination led to the death of my nephew and sadly lessons have not been learned. As our current political leaders have turn a blind eye to the situation, they have empowered smugglers and drug cartels more than ever.”

The court in vacating the convictions of Heraclio Osorio-Arellanes August 9th, claimed his constitutional due process rights had been violated, sending the case back to the U.S. District Court in Arizona

Sorry, but the politicians and bureaucrats responsible for this got off scott free.

And, the bureaucrats, who screwed up the conviction, get no punishment?

We, the Taxpayers, get to keep on paying!

Argh!

HEALTH: Why can’t we use the Amish as a “control group”?

The Verdict is In: The Amish Approach to Covid was Superior
By Sharyl Attkisson | May 1, 2024

  • So why don’t our public health officials seem interested?

*** begin quote ***

It could be one of the most important lessons learned for the next pandemic. And it should make international headlines.

But it seems like those who made the mistakes during Covid aren’t very interested.

The Amish population that largely rejected public health recommendations fared no worse in terms of health impact than the rest of the country that masked, isolated, and vaccinated. That’s according to available data and a federally-funded study that attempted to evaluate the Amish approach.

These findings imply the US could have avoided experimental vaccines that have serious side effects; and circumvented costly shutdowns that devastated the economy, travel, businesses, mental health, and education at the expense of trillions of US tax dollars.

The Amish quickly demonstrated that the US “Health Establishment” were full of <synonym for excrement>!

With this powerful piece of evidence, why were all the politicians and bureaucrats reluctant to revise their faulty thinking about this “PLAN DEMIC”?

Cui Bono?

Argh!

GOVEROTRAGEOUS: There has to be a co-pay for “benefits”

Man convicted in $67M ‘doctor chase’ genetic testing fraud scheme
Dated: October 14, 2023 by Sharyl Attkisson

A Florida man has been convicted in a $67 million Medicare fraud scheme that involved tricking doctors into authorizing unnecessary genetic tests.

There has to be a way for the recipient to pay for services.  Even if it’s just a small co-pay like 1%. The Gooferment can reimburse it even.

I remember when I had an operation as a young child back in the 50’s that my Mom had to pay the bill and get reimbursed by the insurance.  She was lucky at the time to have “good benefits” from her job.  But she had to “tin cup” the family to to pay the bill initially.  AND everyone in the family looked over the bill.  They even asked me what I was given to eat because it was separately charged.  Laugh!  Then, Mom’s insurance paid 95% of the bill and she was stuck for the balance.  Of course, she paid everyone back from the 95%, and she scrimped to cover the difference.  The point of the story was that the consumer has to have skin in the game to prevent fraud and abuse.

And, long mandatory prison terms and the ill-gotten gains have to be clawed back.

Argh!
