Time and again, agents were called off from pursuing leads back to the kingdom’s embassy in Washington, as well as its consulate in Los Angeles, where former FBI Agent Stephen Moore headed a 9/11 task force looking into local contacts made by two of the 15 Saudi hijackers, Moore testified in an affidavit for the 9/11 lawsuit. He concluded that “diplomatic and intelligence personnel of Saudi Arabia knowingly provided material support to the two hijackers and facilitated the 9/11 plot.” Yet he and his team were not allowed to interview them, according to the suit.

I’m not an anti-vaxxer or a vaxxer.  I am in favor of open and honest facts.

The Federal Gooferment has the The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) which is like a secret program hiding any “bad news” from “We, The Sheeple”.

If we knew what was in there, then we could have an intelligent conversation about the risk and rewards.

That will never happed as the Gooferment treats “We, The Sheeple” like we’re their “livestock” on their “farm”.

After the university heard about his shirt the campus store shared an image of his design as a piece of official merchandise, writing: ‘Share in a Florida elementary student’s Volunteer pride by wearing his design on your shirt too!’ They followed up confirming sales of the t-shirt had crashed their site, adding: ‘Thank you Vol Nation! Currently, our website has crashed due to the overwhelming support! We are working on the problem. Once the server restarts, we anticipate the issue to be resolved.’ The school also sent the schoolboy a package full of merchandise.

Another interesting sidelight based on the time line (if I am recollecting correctly): I believe my Dad studied Economics at Georgetown for a semester; possibly connected to his peripatetic NROTC existence. I will have to check with my Uncle Gene for verification (or the opposite) …

As a fat old white guy injineer, I’m not an ekkynonomist by any means. This 7 minute clip is just full of “barbara streisand”. I’ll refer it to those more learned than I Tom Woods & The Tom Woods Show Elite for a laundry list of specifics.

I would point out that Milton Freedman may have started as libertarian with his position on the gold standard, but he turned to the dark side with his creation of “tax witholding” in my mind. He also is a champion of the Fed as the nation’s money manager. Clearly wrong.

I also almost spit out my coffee when the woman said that foreigners seek the “stable American dollar”. In case she hasn’t noticed, the dollar has lost 99% of its purchasing power while I’ve been alive. 2% inflation over 40 years has reduced the dollar to near zero in purchasing power. Think “penny candy”.

As one would expect from a Gooferment supported media outlet, it would seem that they are in a different world than we are. Leaving the Gold Standard for the Fed-standard, has allowed the Gooferment politicians and bureaucrats an unlimited checkbook to borrow and spend. Must to the detriment of “We, The Sheeple”!

He is often quoted in anti-Government memes like “If you put the federal government in charge of the Sahara Desert, in 5 years there’d be a shortage of sand.” and “Nothing is as permanent as a temporary government program.” and was for a free market economy in general.

However he did support the role of the FED in monetary policy.  Clearly not very “libertarian”.

Perhaps even more importantly, it’s also worth emphasizing that the Electoral College was central to our constitutional founding; it was the brilliant political compromise that enabled the forming of a robust union in the first place.  You see, back in 1787, the small states, such as Delaware and Vermont, insisted on the College as the price for ratifying the Constitution and joining the union.  To put that another way, if it were not for the Electoral College, there might never have been a United States.  (As an aside, today, both Delaware and Vermont are strongly Democrat.)

Texas Governor Upset Over Lack Of Background Check For Odessa Killer

The rampage killing in Odessa, Texas marred what should have been a holiday weekend. It was also the second mass shooting within a month for the state of Texas. While Texas isn’t exactly a small state, that’s still got to be troubling for anyone in office there.

Governor Greg Abbot noted that apparently, the killer didn’t undergo a background check for the weapon he used after previously failing a gun purchase background check.

Key word is “apparently”.

If it is true, and that may be a big if, then possibly it may need to be addressed.

Perhaps, all gun sales must be done or “mediated” by a licensed firearm dealer?

Perhaps, it’s such a rarity that it’s not worth the effort.

I saw that in Virginia, when someone fails a background check, the State police are called and interview the person.  In the case, I witnessed the person was a felon and was arrested on the spot.

Perhaps, reinforcing the existing response to a “disqualification” might suffice.

Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in calling for the public ownership of utilities during CNN’s climate change town hall Wednesday evening, but she said she will tell utility companies that use carbon-based fuel that they are “done” by 2035.“Bernie Sanders has endorsed the idea of the public ownership of utilities, arguing that we can’t adequately solve this crisis without removing the profit motive from the distribution of essential needs like energy,” an attendee said.

Fauxcahontas, aka Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), is clueless about the economics of energy.  “We” could minimize carbon if we embraced nuclear power like France and Germany do.  But she just want to put us further under the Gooferment’s “thumb”.

IMHO Fauxcahontas is not a serious candidate because of her claim of being an Indian to advance her academic employment was basically dishonest.  So she’s an opportunist who can’t be trusted.
