Kidnappers: The Tyranny of Child Protective Services

Saturday, July 7, 2018

242 years ago American colonists declared independence from England, in the name of personal liberty. What would it take for Americans to once again declare independence from an oppressive government? For the colonists, it was excessive taxation without representation.

No warrant needed to take a child from a parent!

*** end quote ***

Having some familiarity personally with “the system”, judges need to be held to the highest standards of fairness and impartiality.  It’s a hard thing to separate a child from the parents.  BUT sometimes it is for safety and in the child’s best interest.  We ALL are responsible for the choices we make.  Parents, especially those who are drug addicts, need to be made aware that society will not allow children to be harmed.

Now I have a tough time squaring that with “abortion rights”, but that’s a discussion for another day.

European allies fear President Donald Trump may begin to bring American troops home from the continent as part of his “America First” agenda. They are lobbying him to boost the number of troops to combat an increasingly aggressive Russia.

If Self-Serving Celebs Want to Help Vulnerable Kids, They Should Look at US Militarism & Foster Care

Tuesday, July 3, 2018

Hollywood celebrities are furious over Trump’s policy of separating immigrant children from their families, but their outrage is selective and often self-serving. In recent weeks, border separation has been the top story. Media coverage has included horrific pictures and videos of young immigrant children in anguish at being taken from their families.

Source: If Self-Serving Celebs Want to Help Vulnerable Kids, They Should Look at US Militarism & Foster Care

*** begin quote ***

Another problem with the spate of Tinseltown voices demanding action to stop Trump’s brutal family-separation policy is that these stars didn’t get up in arms when President Obama had a similarly callous policy towards illegal immigrant families.

*** end quote ***

While the policy stinks  — there are reports of traffickers faking it  — it’s another “political” astro-turf like the “anti-war” protests.

WASHINGTON — Navy Secretary Richard Spencer has issued letters of censure to a retired rear admiral and two other officers found to have accepted inappropriate gifts and maintained unethical relationships with “Fat” Leonard Francis, the central figure in a widespread fraud investigation.

The censures – formal, permanent acknowledgements of wrongdoing – were issued last week to retired Rear Adm. Richard Wren, retired Capt. Timothy Conroy and Capt. Charles Johnson, the Navy announced Wednesday in a statement. The letters do not impact retirement benefits or pay for the officers reprimanded.

Why doesn’t it impact pay or retirement benefits?  Why aren’t there criminal penalties?

USB-C to USB-A Adapter

Friday, June 29, 2018

My tech adoption generally consists of long periods of inertia punctuated with the occasional frenzy of replacement. But I’m very glad to see USB C catch on, even if it means one of those frenzies. While none of our household’s phones are yet equipped with USB C, my Asus Chromebook is, as is my GoPro camera — and I know it’s the wave of the (near-term) future.

Since I’ve been “retired”, I’ve moved from “bleeding edge” to “being dragged along kicking and screaming”.

New Jersey: ‘Surrender Your Guns Or Become A Criminal!’

Thursday, June 28, 2018

New Jersey, not exactly known for giving the people living within its borders freedom, has just passed a law that declares all guns which hold more than ten rounds of ammunition “illegal.” The state is ordering people to surrender their guns or become criminals.

Admin Over Adolescents: 7 Ways Illinois’ Bureaucracy Is Siphoning Money From Classrooms

Friday, June 8, 2018

Authored by Ted Dabrowski and John Klingner via Wirepoints.com, Listen to education officials’ demands for more money and it’s easy to believe Illinois grossly underspends on K-12 education. A $7.2 billion funding lawsuit to double state contributions to classroom spending, a $40,000 minimum wage demand for teachers, and lawmakers’ rejection of limits to school district borrowing might bolster that impression.

Is Mayor diBlasio

Friday, June 8, 2018

“Though New York City has one of the most segregated schools systems in the country,” writes Elizabeth Harris of The New York Times, until now, Mayor Bill de Blasio “was all but silent on the issue.” He was “reluctant even to use the word ‘segregation.’” Now the notion that the liberal mayor belongs in the same basket as Southern governors in the ’50s and ’60s like Orval Faubus of Arkansas and Ross Barnett of Mississippi seems a bit of a stretch.

Owner of the Lolita Express and Orgy Island

Thursday, June 7, 2018

Have you noticed, fellow truth-seekers, how the information we are pursuing seems to be coming at us in fits and starts these days? How some investigations begin, are stalled, and others long forgotten return to the public eye? As we attempt to decipher and interpret revelations about behind-the-scenes sexual abuse and pedophelia among the powerful elite in our society, we might do well to imagine a larger, more coherent process taking place that adheres to the well-worn phrase: timing is everything.

# – # – # – # – #

*** begin quote ***

No doubt, Jeffrey Epstein has dirt on many friends in high places, like the aforementioned Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and even Donald Trump, who is known to have visited Epstein’s island. Perhaps this is where FBI interests lie, or perhaps it is in gathering information about people who are not in the public eye. Is it possible that the FBI is leveraging Epstein to continue to get enough information to eventually prosecute people who are higher up the totem pole? One would hope so, although there are certainly less promising conclusions one could draw on the strength of this piece of information alone.

Why aren’t the patrons of the Lolita Express and Orgy Island listed on the front page of every paper and news website?

Texas Bullion Depository Open for Business

Thursday, June 7, 2018

The Texas Bullion Depository officially opened for business this week. The creation of the facility represents a power-shift away from the federal government, and sets the foundation to undermine the Federal Reserve’s monopoly on money.

*** begin quote ***

The Texas Bullion Depository will create a mechanism to challenge the federal government’s monopoly on money and provides a blueprint for other states to follow. If the majority of states controlled their own supply of gold, and people began using precious metals in daily transactions, it could conceivably make the Federal Reserve completely irrelevant.

*** end quote ***

That’s going to take some time, but it becomes an interesting way create a “store of value”.

Reason #6831 Why Gun Registration Is Evil – Bearing Arms

Wednesday, June 6, 2018

There’s a saying that ignorance of the law is no defense, which I get. I really do.Yet at some point, there has to be a line. If men and women can be arrested when they’re clearly trying to not break the law, then what hope does any law-abiding citizen have? There’s a theory that the average person goes through life committing something like three felonies per day. I don’t know how accurate that is, but I have little difficulty believing that we break laws all the time without realizing it.

“If you give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest of men, I will find something in them which will hang him.” —Cardinal Richelieu

Same thing with all the gun laws.  The Constitution (of no account) is specifically clear.  The right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

How is this not “infringement”?
