So voters need to look deeper at these “normal” Democrats, because the staid moderate act only lasts so long.
Just look at New Jersey and Virginia, whose new governors both veered sharply left after running “moderate” campaigns.
Garden State Gov. Mikie Sherrill positioned herself as a reasonable, middle-of-the-road candidate. She ran on affordability issues and rarely mentioned immigration.
Upon taking office, she immediately signed an executive order limiting United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity on state property — and started pushing a 7% sales tax hike.

Two faced lying grifters.
But how do “we” fix it?
Clearly “We, The Sheeple” have no recourse to lying politicians, who fool us into voting for them. We need a better “system” but I don’t know what that would be.
Perhaps, a smaller, more decentralized, prganizational principle might work better.
Instead of large “States”, we should have size limits based on area, population, and age distribution. Maybe a “county” might be even too big. It would have to balance overhead versus efficiency. Now some muncipalities are larger than foreign countries.
States like Wyoming are not “equal” to cities like New York, Los Angeles, or any big metro area. Imagine the Pepuls Republik of Nu Jerk being divided into governing bodies of less than 100,000 people? Power to the people!
Technology makes smaller governance groups possible without travel.
