Any restaurant manger worth his salt would attempt to accommodate a customer in this situation and at the very least give some sort of discount if not just comp the meal outright. I’d go a little futher and let me share my strategy and tactics to help “the invisible hand of the marketplace” administer some “market discipline”.  If I am happy or unhappy, then I not only tell everyone but I also use social media to praise or complain.  I don’t know if my social media posts make a difference but sometimes I get a positive response from the target.
