Guess what guys. If I can’t figure out how to set the clock by bed time tonight. Back it goes!!

Dear Ms. Garcia: Way too late. You didn’t make your promised SLA. I wound up calling in. The clock is set. But, it didn’t work for several hours as I reset the clock over and over again. It just wouldn’t save. It was as if there was a magic button I was missing. When I called in and powered it up talking to the phone rep, magic: the clock was set. I hope whatever gremlin was there has left for other places. But, who knows. fjohn

p.s., Emailing me the reproduced instruction page is really irritating. Did you think I didn’t read it? Or couldn’t find page 17! The phone rep was equally condescending. Argh!

One Response to TECHHARDWARE: JVC Customer Service Camcorder set

  1. Hi,
I want to express my sincerest appreciation to Tamara H. JVC Customer Care.
I bought an Everio camcorder GZ-330 at Best Buys in Santa Rosa
CA and was assured it was compatible with my two Macs.
I have a Desktop 20″ Mac OSX Tiger and the latest MacbookPro
    15″ 4.4″ laptop leopard (came out in Oct.08) .
Using the instruction book that came with my camcorder I was
met with failure. I consulted your website and read that another
Mac owner had the same problem, etc. I didn’t read any pertinent
solutions. So I packed up my Everio in it’s orginal container, ready
to return it today, Jan.26th. But I decided to ask for help on your
site. I was informed that my msg. was rec’d. but would be answered on a working day.
BLESS TAMARA H. for on Sunday a.m. I found her email with
easy to read and comprehensive instructions that your manual
    with the camcorder sadly lacks.
Since I had upgraded my desktop to imovies 8 plus it came on my
Laptop so I was successful in uploading my video per her comprehensive instructions. Tamara should be writing the section
    in your manual re:Macs.
I am delighted with my Everio gz 330 with one exception. I wish
the videos came out sharper on Youtube. I used one step below
the superfine (which I’ll try next). I uploaded my first of 13 clips
of Mattinata Di Matteo a mandolin group in San Francisco.
You can see it on my YouTube website.
Thank you Tamara!!!! Also for working on Sunday!!!
    Sincerely,
    Ralph J. Muscatell
    Windsor, CA
