LINKEDIN: new concept “Network Drafting”

“Network Drafting” as defined as noticing that someone you trust in your network connects to another person, and you attempt to connect as well. You’re drafting in the sense that you follow their lead to improve your situation – drafting the race car or bicyclist in front of you.

Well, for whatever reason, you improved my thinking about LinkedIn. I’m not sure what I call “snuggling up” (i.e., the general attempt to make my 2’s into 1’s) is useful or necessary. It’s about creating the web of weak links that will bring information back to you.

Hey man! I was just ‘googling’ around and saw this post! Too funny … I’m actually going about doing what I stated. I’ve been out trying to generate traffic around a tool suite my business partner and I are developing. Hope this ‘network drafting’ I sorta fell on, works …

    Take care,

    Steve
