“Accurate voter rolls are the bedrock of our constitutional republic,” said Gina Swoboda, Chair of the Arizona Republican Party. “The rampant presence of ineligible voters on our rolls is unacceptable and undermines the trust Arizonans place in our electoral process.” 

According to the lawsuit, research into the state’s voter rolls discovered that Arizona has between 500,000 to 1.27 million invalid registrations, including deceased people and those who have left the state. Additionally, some counties were found to have “outrageous voter registration rates,” with some having a total list of voter names that exceeded “100% of eligible voters.”

“The AZGOP and the Arizona Free Enterprise Club are demanding the immediate implementation of an effective voter list maintenance program to comply with NVRA mandates,” read a statement posted on the X account for the Republican Party of Arizona.

As far as I am concerned the Conspiracy Theory that “the election in <insert favorite political jurisdiction> was stolen” by its very assertion I deem as “Category 1  —  Generally Accepted As True”.  I don’t care if it’s asserted by DJT, Hillary, any D, any R, any L, or just some random loon on the street.  I treat it as true.

Until these type of voter fraud are reported as factually inaccurate, my default is that ALL elections are suspect and rigged.

I have observed and participated in trials throughout the world. I have seen justice and injustice in China, Russia, Ukraine, England, France, Italy, Israel, as well as in nearly 40 of our 50 states.

But in my 60 years as a lawyer and law professor, I have never seen a spectacle such as the one I observed sitting in the front row of the courthouse yesterday.

The judge in Donald Trump’s trial was an absolute tyrant, though he appeared to the jury to be a benevolent despot. He seemed automatically to be ruling against the defendant at every turn.

Alan Dershowitz was allowed to stay in the courtroom during former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial while Judge Merchan scolded witness Robert Costello.

Many experienced lawyers raised their eyebrows when the judge excluded obviously relevant evidence when offered by the defense, while including irrelevant evidence offered by the prosecution.

When politics prevents fair trials, it’s time to “retire” the judges involved.

At the very least, don’t lawyers like Alan Dershowitz have an obligation to report the judge’s conduct to the Bar Association for an inquiry?

Another example is the prioritization of the needs of the socialized medicine behemoths such as the United Kingdom’s cultish National Health Service: the British journalist Sherelle Jacobs comments that “with NHS spending now more than that for education, transport, the Home Office and defense put together, Britain is arguably now merely a health service with a state attached.” Similarly, in Canada, private healthcare is banned, and citizens struggling to cope with life are offered state assistance in killing themselves.

As we all should know the Gooferment, its politicians and bureaucrats, as well as its accomplices (i.e., the media presstitures, the rich entitled, the celebrities, and the identiarians) are immoral, ineffective, and inefficient. As well as untrustworthy.

Hence, all we can do is be in what I’ll call “Always resist” mode.

There is no other way that to be a “stainless steel rat” a la James Bolivar diGriz, alias “Slippery Jim” and “The Stainless Steel Rat” — a fictional character and a series of comic science fiction novels written by Harry Harrison.

Just find your way thru the maze and never be fooled by the platitudes and preachings of these evil people.

Remember FDR’s “policies” lead to the improvishment of generations and millions of deaths in WW2 and beyond.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Department detectives proudly announced a complex and successful sting this week. 

A retail theft ring has been caught red-handed, with millions of dollars’ worth of make-up, perfume, pharmaceuticals, and more, stolen from stores in and around California, much of it still bearing store tags.  

Product has been recovered; at least a dozen locations have been revealed. Multiple fences have been identified, with eight arrests announced at the start, and likely more to follow. They will prove that shoplifting rings were organized to hit the stores that had what the fences wanted – from pharmacies like CVS to big box stores like Walmart.

One of the hallmarks of today’s progressive prosecutors – the many Soros-funded district attorneys of cities and counties like Los Angeles – is the public declaration that police resources are too valuable, and capitalist retailers too unimportant and undeserving of protection, to waste time on prosecuting “minor crimes” like retail theft valued under some arbitrary figure of $800 or $1,000. This position has always been shameful and indefensible, but is all the more so in light of organized theft rings like the one in today’s news.

If the police are doing their jobs and the criminals are back on the street before they finish the paperwork then why are we surprised as crime wipes out society.

When we “vote” for these politicians and bureaucrats, then we are accepting the moral decline of our country.

Murders get a slap ion the wrist and thieves get a free pass.

NPR editor quit after telling the truth about liberal bias in media. It’s time to defund them.

  • NPR in recent years has gone from being something I enjoy to something that more often than not leaves me shaking my head.

Here’s a solution: Defund NPR

NPR – National Public Radio – isn’t just another media outlet. It’s funded in part by taxpayers, which places it in a different position than say The New York Times, The Washington Post or even my news organization.

Private publications are free to do what they want, although I think more are waking up to the need for more viewpoint diversity. It’s simply a smart business decision to reach a broader audience.

While Berliner argues that NPR still deserves public funding, I disagree. 

He writes: “As the country becomes more fractured, there’s still a need for a public institution where stories are told and viewpoints exchanged in good faith.”

Yet, NPR is offering no confidence that it will embrace anything close to the viewpoint diversity that it now lacks. Its new CEO, Katherine Maher, is getting attention because of social media posts she made before she was hired, including calling former President Donald Trump a “racist sociopath” and boasting of wearing a Joe Biden campaign hat in public.

That doesn’t bode well. 

If NPR wants to double down on its woke mission, fine. But it shouldn’t do it on my dime – or that of other taxpayers. 

NPR claims that “federal funding is essential to public radio’s service to the American public and its continuation is critical for both stations and program producers, including NPR.”

I’m not lawyer.  (Thank God!)  But this seems to be blatant religious discrimination.  I would think that the Orthodox Jewish community would object.  I would.  And, it seems like automatic grounds for appeal.  (Maybe DJT’s lawyers are already drafting the appeal.)

NEW JERSEY — In an extraordinary move Wednesday, the federal government imposed strict new limits on “forever chemicals” in public water systems, a costly undertaking for New Jersey’s local water utilities that many say will ultimately fall on the backs of taxpayers.

The Environmental Protection Agency mandate requires that the perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals, known collectively as PFAS, be reduced to near-zero levels. The rule is the first national drinking water limit on toxic PFAS, which are widespread, long-lasting in the environment and have been linked to cancer and a host of other health problems.

They’re ubiquitous, found in everything from food packaging and cookware to dental floss and other personal care items to children’s toys and firefighting foams.

At least 45 percent of U.S. water systems have one or more types of PFAS chemicals, according to a 2023 study by the U.S. Geological Survey. In New Jersey, PFAS have been found in public water systems in Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Naval Weapons Station Earle, Woodbury Creek, Gloucester County Fire Training Area, Solvay Specialty Polymers Plant and the New Jersey Air National Guard Base, among others.

Health advocates praised the Environmental Protection Agency for not backing away from tough limits the agency proposed last year. But water utilities took issue with the rule, saying treatment systems are expensive to install and that customers will end up paying more for water.

And I am sure that I get mailings every year from different “water suppliers” and municipalities telling my how “good” the water was.  Were those just lies?

Of course, the taxpayers and rate payers will pay more for this new and improved water. 

Argh!

Maybe instead of the Unintended Consequences of Gooferment “water”, people could be given a free market choice.  For example, if I use the new and improved water for my grass, then maybe I don’t want to pay more for it.  Ditto, flushing the toilet.  And, how about the concrete wash out basins, do they need the new and improved more expensive water?

Of course, with Gooferment solutions, there are no choices.

I guess all the folks buying bottled water may have had good reason too.

Just imagine if Honolulu’s lawsuit succeeds, and the city is awarded punitive damages; it would open up the floodgates for class action lawsuits around the world. Every city, state, and country in the world would be able to sue in the name of climate change.

No oil company would survive, and no investor or entrepreneur would touch the sector. The cost of energy would skyrocket… which would increase the cost of everything. Powering your home. Heating your home. Food. Medicine. EVERYTHING.
