In the intervening years a body of literature questioning the official conclusions of the Warren Commission, and the events themselves, led the vast majority of Americans to conclude that there was a conspiracy that went beyond Oswald, or in some cases one that framed Oswald and concealed the real killers. That majority has not really wavered to this day. A small group of researchers worked on the JFK case over those years, filing FOIA requests, digging into new evidence, interviewing witnesses the Commission ignored or misrepresented, giving lectures to the public, and calling for a new investigation. There was enough public pressure in that direction by the mid-1970s to convince Congress to create a Select Committee of the House to study the murders of both President Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Hobbled by political considerations and the loss of its original staff director, homicide prosecutor Richard Sprague, the HSCA failed to answer many questions about the forensic evidence and the guilt of the alleged assassins, but did end its probe in 1978, concluding that there had been a “probably conspiracy” which it instructed the Justice Department and FBI to investigate further. To date, those agencies have neither done an honest or thorough investigation of these murders, nor examined the evidence pointing to the role of J. Edgar Hoover, former FBI director in both the assassinations and the cover-up. The HSCA Chairman then ordered their extensive investigative files sealed from public view for 50 years, until 2028. President Johnson had also sealed the Warren Commission investigative files for 75 years in 1965, for potential release in 2035. Freedom of Information Act requests and legal suits succeeded in the getting several thousands of pages released from 1964-1994, but nowhere near the complete classified records on JFK alone.

I peobably won’t be alive when the truth does come out, but I remember the events.

How could this happen here?

Dark Complected Man (DCM), like Umbrella Man, was on the Grassy Knoll, and, like Umbrella Man, appears to reasonable observers to have been signaling. At the precise moment that JFK’s car passed, as Umbrella Man opened and pumped his umbrella repeatedly, Dark Complected Man shot his fist up into the air. To some, DCM seemed to be calling for a halt to the presidential limo, which did in fact either come to a complete halt or slowed down to a crawl.

It’s not just their actions at the moment that Kennedy’s head is blown apart. It’s how they behave afterwards.

Instead of reacting with horror and springing into action, these two purported strangers sit down together, on the curb, and calmly survey the chaos. In their icy nonchalance, they exhibit an almost professional detachment.

Shooting is precision. Hitting a moving target is infinitely harder that a stationary one. Stopping the convoy in the correct spot where the range is precisely known would be critical.

Still think it was one guy with a junky gun on an angle with an unknown distance and weather?

Let me say in conclusion that for a half century American politics have been constrained and deformed by the unresolved matter of the Kennedy assassination. According to a memo of November 25 1963, from Assistant Attorney General Nicholas Katzenbach, it was important then to persuade the public that “Oswald was the assassin,” and that “he did not have confederates.”70 Obviously this priority became even more important after these questionable propositions were endorsed by the Warren Report, the U.S. establishment, and the mainstream press. It has remained an embarrassing priority ever since for all succeeding administrations, including the present one. There is for example an official in Obama’s State Department (Todd Leventhal), whose official job, until recently, included defense of the lone nut theory against so-called “conspiracy theorists”71

If Oswald was not a lone assassin, then it should not surprise us that there is continuity between those who falsified reports about Oswald in 1963, and those who distorted American politics in subsequent deep events beginning with Watergate. Since the deep event of 1963 the legitimacy of America’s political system has become vested in a lie – a lie which subsequent deep events have helped to protect.72

There’s no doubt among my circle that I wear a tin foil hat. That being said, I mere point out that there are logical questions that seem unanswered. The implications of those questions upset “We, The Sheeple” and, since there is no “intellectual curiosity” about “unpleasant topics”, they accept the “jumbo shrimp”, “tooth fairies”, and such with an amazing lack of concern.

And, label all that don’t with the labels “crackpot”, “conspiracy nut”, and “weirdo”.

I remember the disparagement heaped upon my “crazy” uncle Louie, who was a little nuts (i.e., he owned a gun in even then “liberal” New York), when at the Tday feast, he’d insist to his male peers over a beer that “FDR caused Pearl Harbor”. I can remember him reciting the same five points over and over again. I wish I’d take notes. (But then I wish that about a lot of things.) It wasn’t until he was long dead and buried that I found an read “The Pearl Harbor Deception” by Robert Stinnett that made a very persuasive case that crazy Uncle Louie wasn’t so crazy. I wonder what will happen, what books will be written, that will confirm other “crazy” ideas.

In this long paper, i found one element “interesting”.

Why would this be “important” to an Assistant Attorney General?

See the essence of being a tin foil hat is to find more and more threads that just, when followed, lead “We, The Sheeple” to an inevitable truth. We’ve been getting screwed by the political class for a long time. We just don’t know it.

As an illustration of the depravity of the main stream media in this country today, I have been struck by the astute observations of Douglas Horne, who was the Chief Analyst for Military Records for the Assassination Records Review Board, a five-member civilian board entrusted with the responsibility for declassifying documents and records held by the CIA, the NSA, the FBI and the Secret Service, among other agencies of the government, created by an act of Congress in the wake of the resurgence of interest in the death of JFK generated by Oliver Stone’s film. They had been classified for 75 years by the Warren Commission on the ground of national security. If its conclusion–that JFK was assassinated by a lone, demented gunman named “Lee Harvey Oswald”–were true, however, there would have been NO “national security” aspect to this issue.

Moreover, by classifying them for 75 years (which just happens to correspond to the lifetime of an average American), they insured that no one who was living at the time would be available to contradict whatever those records might reveal. The House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA), which reinvestigated the case in 1976-79, likewise decided to sequester many sensitive documents, especially those in the medical arena that contradicted its own conclusions, for 50 years, which Oliver Stone emphasized in his film, “JFK”. As those of us who have devoted ourselves to the evidence in this case are well aware, Oswald could not have committed the crime and was used as a “patsy” to distract attention from the conspirators, who included the CIA, the Joint Chiefs, anti-Castro Cubans and elements of local law enforcement. As a shooter, without any great credentials, the “single shooter in the depository” explanation never made sense. Yeah, I know Marines are related to William Tell and can do anything. BUT, (and there is always a BIG butt), a tough shot on a down angle on a moving target?

That aside.

Why a 75 year restriction?

Pure and simple, declassify now!

We need the truth.

If nothing, this is a lesson to those charged with “security”. Part of the job is “target management”!

The tin foil hat in me asks: “Who put this idea in his head? Or reinforced his prejudice. And, what was their connection to the assassination cabal?”

The limo stop—during which JFK was hit twice in the head, once from behind and once from in front—was such an obvious indication of Secret Service complicity that it had to be taken out, which is undoubtedly the principal reason for fixing the film. But it had other ramifications. What Clint Hill has consistently described is not in the Zapruder film: he describes several actions in those seconds around the limo stop that were deleted from the extant film. In editing the timeline of the extant film, it was necessary to delete his pushing of Mrs. Kennedy back into the seat—there just wasn’t enough time left in the film once the limo stop had been deleted. There is no possible way in which Clint could possibly have seen what he claims to have seen before the car accelerated away and passed the lead car when he was stuck on the back of the speeding limo as he is shown doing in the extant film. And from his initial reports right up to his latest “book signing” interview, he has insisted that that was when he saw those things, that he did reach Mrs. Kennedy and that he did push her down into the car, unlike what the film shows. Which means that the film is a fake.
