Just imagine the ‘significant’ impact this had! People who would have contributed to organizations that did not have exempt tax status, who otherwise would have? Imagine the additional money that would have been available for advertisements, campaign work, etc? And just imagine what this scandal would have done to the Presidential campaign if it had been known to the public? Wow! The whole election could have been effected by this! And nobody knows ‘why’ it was done, or who ordered it? Really? Either somebody is lying, or we have boobs running the government.

I’m just a fat old white guy injineer. I can’t with any degree of certainty tell what happened months ago. I can say with a reasonable degree of assurance that “race” is a flawed concept.

There is only one race, the ‘human race’. We all came from the same set of parents. It was the different languages and the scattering of mankind (Genesis 11: 5-9) which created what we call “races” today. When in fact not different ‘races’, but all the same people. It was the scattering to different parts of the world, to different climates, which created over time different ‘sets’ of people with different levels of melalin (low, medium, or high levels developed over time from staying in that climate). The groups formed at the ‘scattering’ referenced above, likely were formed with people having the same language (makes sense that those that were given the same language would stick together, since they were the only people they could communicate with and understand). Over several generations of sticking together in that one climate….what we call ‘races’ were formed. But really just all from the same family….just got ‘scattered’ a very long time ago! :-)

Also interesting that the government feels it can control the age of the “buyers” of these things on open shelves yet it cannot control the age of cigarette purchasers unless the packs are safely behind the counters.

Will they demand proof of age for anyone who looks under 27?

Where is the common sense patience? It could take a very long time before all the details are understood. The only ‘fact’ that seems worthy of repeating is from the article itself… “Another effect of changing details can be to encourage conspiracy theorists who latch onto inconsistencies, and to undermine trust in authorities.” Less “latching onto” … please.

We have to remember this is not a fast food restaurant or a quick google search. It’s an investigation of an attack on the U.S. All of the questions will be addressed in time as I am sure all these things are being looked into. It could very likely be that they were financed by some jihadist group. But those things don’t need to be exposed at this time as they would put a damper on the ongoing investigations. Our weapon as fellow Americans right now is ‘patience’.

Let’s give the police a break. If there had been no sniffing dogs around the finish line, oh I can just hear the outcry now….why didn’t they have bomb sniffing dogs! These guys do an awesome job, and try to give the best of their ability. Are they ‘perfect’….no, the last time we saw someone perfect was over 2000 years ago.

Well, you’ve got to have SOME sympathy for the FBI etc in situations like this: it’s not always easy to tell the difference between the “peaceful radicals” and the ones who you’d WANT the FBI to be watching.

The solution that we applied back in my Quaker activist days and which I’ve always encouraged my Free Choice (“Anti-Anti-Smoking”) groups to follow, is one of complete and total openness. Hey, you wanna infiltrate and see what we’re doing? GREAT! Join the party! The best testimony activists can have as to our “purity” (whether it be purity from “Communist Party Influence” or “Big Tobacco Lobbying Money” or “Radical Terrorist Group”) is to have the FBI or ASH testify that there’s nothing to find! :>

Yeah, you lose a *little* bit in terms of it being more difficult to “surprise” your opposition, but what you gain in terms of confirmation of your status as well as freedom from worries about “Who amongst us is an Informer?” more than makes up for that difference. If your cause is truly just, it can survive the sunlight.

Just gone done with taxes. I thought the kids were my ticket to a fat refund- not so much!!

I’m on a sprint to lose 25 pounds. It’s almost pool season.

My car got broken into. IPAD, wifi-hot-spot and my back stimulator gone. As you can imagine my wife is thrilled. This is one of those times I’d like to get a tax refund. Argh!!

“Argh” is an Internet meme. I picked up. As usual, Hollywood needs to look kool. It steals a simple germanic guttural and makes it profanely more than it is. I’m have to find a good German word like ack, or schissen. Maybe a Brit bollicks, or bloody hell (too many letters) ack, argh, frustration!
